K-12 — Sally Ride Science Festival
Dr. Sally Ride, America’s first woman astronaut, invites 5th- through 8th-grade girls and interested adults to join in a day-long science festival on September, 2006 on the campus of the University of Michigan.
Bring your friends, hear a keynote by a noteworthy female scientist, enjoy the street fair, attend Discovery Workshops, and enter a raffle. Adults are welcome, and separate adult track workshops are available.
Festival Schedule:
11:00 am – 1:00 pm, check-in, lunch, street fair
12:45 pm – 4:15 pm, keynote, Discovery Workshops, street
fair, raffle
$18 fee includes lunch and workshops.
